Kabul – IOM, in partnership with the Government of Afghanistan, this week (15-17/7) organized a workshop to help Afghanistan to engage with its diaspora abroad to promote the country’s development.

Santo Domingo – The results of the Migration Governance Indicators (MGI) in the Dominican Republic reveal advances in the legal and institutional capacity of the Dominican Government to guarantee the socioeconomic well-being of migrants. Southern Africa, Indian Ocean Initiative Builds Capacity in Migration, Environment and Climate Change
IOM has launched an 18-month project aiming at developing evidence and building capacities on migration, environment, and climate change (MECC) in four countries in Southern Africa and the Indian Ocean. The project is funded by IOM Development Fund (IDF) and will be implemented through February 2018 in Madagascar, Mauritius, Mozambique and Namibia.
