The project aims to support the development of an efficient policy that facilitates and encourages the social and economic development of Morocco through the involvement of human, financial and social capital of Moroccans Residing Abroad (MRA). Over a period of four month, this project will take stock of currently available structures, tools and opportunities and will formulate concrete proposals aiming to improve, diversify, publicize and enhance access to opportunities available to MRA, notably in regards to adding further value to their remittances, investments and skill transfer that are respectful of their private interest.
The project will also undertake a comprehensive assessment of the current communication portal serving the Moroccan diaspora (the Forum International des Compétences Marocaines à l’Etranger (FINCOME)), and will, if warranted, work jointly with the Ministry in charge of the MRA community to elaborate recommendations that aim at improving its visibility, pertinence and efficiency
