Enhancing Linkages Between The Rwandan Government and Diaspora to Promote Development & Investment

The overall objective of the project is to create an effective and efficient communication link between the Diaspora Directorate General and the Rwanda diaspora in order to encourage members of the Rwandan diaspora to contribute to the development of their country by way of remittances, transfer of technology, knowledge, and skills, as well as promoting investment in Rwanda.

This project will provide technical assistance to the Diaspora Directorate General within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation in Rwanda to: 1) develop a database on the Rwandan diaspora using Belgium as a pilot country; 2) develop a dynamic website to capture information on the diaspora; 3) conduct a pilot skills audit & diaspora needs assessment.
