Project to Enhance Migrants' Conditions in Libyan Holding Centres (MICOL)

The overall objective of this project is to contribute to the better management and planning of health care services provided to migrants detained in holding centres in Libya. The project aims to assess, through a dedicated mission, the current hygiene situation, rules and regulations that apply in detention centres, gather information on public health risks irregular migrants and staff are exposed to, examine accessibility of public health services and appraise related knowledge and skills of personnel, and make recommendations.
