This project’s objective is to build migration management capacities at the International Airport of N’Djili by improving existing infrastructure for passport control and supporting the installation of a surveillance system to reduce the presence of immigration officers and other migration services on the tarmac and in the transit areas. This will result in a reduction of operational and administrative problems for passenger’s arrival and departure. This project will also improve security at the international airport and improve border controls.
The projects falls within the framework of the capacity building for migration management programme that IOM is implementing through the EC funded - AENEAS project. The 1035 Facility funding will also partially contribute to the co-funding obligation of the EC funded – AENEAS project.
