In order to offer training to migration officials from within the Eastern African Community, the Tanzanian Immigration Department has established the Moshi Immigration Training Institute. This project, through the presence of a dedicated training specialist in Moshi, will develop and institute training programs for migration officials at the Immigration Training Institute in Moshi. This will include technical assistance to the Tanzanian Immigration Department to develop both national and regional training curricula, drawing on regional aspects of migration in order to attract and benefit migration officers from the neighbouring countries.
