The 12-month project will provide a sustainable data collection strategy in support of Turkey’s efforts to combat human trafficking. Additionally, the project will be implemented within the framework of Turkey’s cooperation with the member states of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC).
The project will establish an office for information, data collection and trends analysis on trafficking. A full-time researcher will carry out data collection and analysis duties as well as coordinate cooperative research activities by outside experts.
The target group for this project is policy makers, law enforcement authorities and other interested actors within the counter-trafficking field.
