In cooperation with the OTE (Office des Tunisiens à l’étranger) and ANETI (Agence Nationale pour l’Emploi et le Travail Indépendant) this project will seek to support the government’s efforts in the country’s socio-economic development (including specifically support for activities to effectively manage migration and reduce the risks of irregular emigration for Tunisians) by establishing three Migrant Resource Centres (MRC) in three selected key regions of emigration in Tunisia (Tunis, Le Kef and Sfax). Through web-based, telephone, and direct services within the centres, the MRCs will act as a source of reliable information and consultation for Tunisians looking for opportunities to emigrate as well as for expatriate returnees looking to reintegrate into the labour force and economic life of Tunisia.
