This project is aimed at building and improving the capacity of migration authorities and policy-makers to respond to the current migration phenomenon in Belize. The project will include research on Belizean current migration trends and training activities based on IOM’s publication “Essentials of Migration Management.” Two national workshops, one for policy makers and one for practitioners, will bring together key stakeholders to share knowledge, experiences and to begin possible coordinated solutions to migration issues affecting Belize.
