Institutional Capacity-building Program in Migration Management and Counter Trafficking for the Government of Paraguay

Within the framework of technical cooperation given by IOM to the Government of the Republic of Paraguay, this project provides tools which will strengthen the institutional capacities in terms of migration management and regional counter-trafficking of the following institutions: the General Office of Migration, the Ministry of Foreign Relations, the Counter-Trafficking Inter-Institutional Roundtable and the Tri-national Network composed of the Triple Border. This project proposes 1) technical assistance 2) training and 3) elaboration of technical documents on trafficking as well as documents which explore the current institutional conditions. These documents aim to guide the recommendations for the development of future strategic projects. The 1st Regional Summit on Migration will take place as a conclusion to this project.
