In addition, the project aims to build capacity among relevant governmental counterparts in terms of their ability to identify situations of vulnerability linked to migration; their knowledge of the relevant legal and political framework, institutional resources, and the operational procedures for referral and support of vulnerable migrants; and to carry out an evaluation. The project includes the following components: 1) Research on the sociocultural and demographic characteristics of the migrant population in Buenos Aires and their access to social services; 2) Capacity building of relevant actors on migration and human rights through a training of trainers methodology; and 3) An information campaign on the human rights of migrants.
