Labour Migration
Regional
Completed
The aim of this project is to improve the administration of labour migration flows, especially of intra-regional flows, which are managed by both the immigration and labour authorities of the benefiting Member States.
To achieve this aim the project foresees fulfilling the following specific objectives: 1) generate valid and relevant information from direct sources about south-south migratory flows present in benefiting Member States; 2) carry out an interdisciplinary analysis of said information, which will serve to formulate recommendations that are concrete, appropriate, gender- and youth-sensitive, and that permit improved migration and labour management of said flows; 3) disseminate the results of the research amongst authorities and other key actors in each of the benefiting Member States.
