The proposed study consists in analysing the needs, interests and capacities of IDP women (and girls) through a literature review/gathering of updated information and analysis and dialogue with Field Missions and other actors involved in this issue. This study would highlight issues facing IDP women and would include guidelines for project development as well as a check-list that could be used on the spot. Such a study would enhance the gender mainstreaming of projects and programmes dealing with IDPs, and facilitate the development of proposals targeting IDP women. IOM Colombia has expressed particular interest in this study, and has agreed to contribute to its overall costs.
