This project will strengthen the capacity of the Government of Gabon to address trafficking of children from Benin and Togo.
Project outputs will include:
• Building the capacity of national actors and civil society with regards to trafficking in persons;
• Supporting local non-governmental organizations to protect children and build a coordination mechanism among the parties involved;
• Awareness-raising events on the causes and mechanism of trafficking of children in the countries of origin, Benin and Togo;
• Enhance the cooperation between Gabon, Benin and Togo in order to encourage and improve the sharing of information, best practices and experiences among the relevant stakeholders.
