This project seeks to support the development and implementation of international migration policies of two countries that share some of the same political principles and viewpoints on migration affairs, namely, Ecuador and Bolivia. Project components will include:
- Strengthening and consolidating the participation of civil society on dialogues with the GOB’s and GOE’s on their respective migration policies by promoting the exchange of best practices.
- Information campaigns with civil society to consolidate the implementation of the GOE’s comprehensive migration policy.
- Awareness raising dialogues to design the GOB’s migration policy.
- Technical assistance to disseminate and consolidate the GOE’s and the GOB’s respective migration policies through the exchanges of experiences with countries in the region, particularly within regional consultation processes.
- Improve the GOB’s design and the GOE’s implementation of their respective migration policies by developing a knowledge base on international migration policy affairs.
