The project proposes to provide technical assistance to the Government of Bangladesh in the area of human trafficking, specifically trafficking for labour exploitation. A comprehensive law on human trafficking will be drafted in cooperation with the Government of Bangladesh (MOHA, MOL and MOEWOE) to broaden the scope and definition of the existing legislative framework and to develop Standard Operating Procedures for the investigation of human trafficking cases.
