Technical Support to Improve Migration Information Management through the Establishment of a ‘Sudan Migration Research and Information Centre’

The objective of this project is to strengthen the capacity of the Government of Sudan, through the Secretariat of Sudanese Working Abroad (SSWA), to collect, analyze and record migration data and information for the improved management of migration in Sudan in a manner which is consistent with international standards and specific regional objectives. A Migration Research and Information Center will also be launched within the SSWA to establish government ownership and increase technical capacity for on-going data collection in order to promote sustainability.

This project will provide capacity building and technical support to initiate a long-term sustainable and action-oriented approach to migration information management within Sudan.
