This project will be implemented complementarily to IOM’s 18-month project ‘Towards Improved Vocational Education and Training in Kyrgyzstan’, funded by the European Union.
The overall objective is to contribute to the effort of the Kyrgyz Government in enhancing the vocational education and training (VET) system through capacity building of VET providers on innovative management practices, strategic development approaches, developing partnerships and making VET attractive to population, in particular unemployed men and women at risk of social exclusion (including potential migrant workers), minors without parental care.
The main outcome of this project will be the enhancement of the VET capacity in providing market-oriented vocational education and training following standards recommended within the Torino Process .
