Workshop on the Handbook on Establishing Effective Labour Migration Policies in Countries of Origin and Destination

The ‘Handbook on Establishing Effective Labour Migration Policies Countries of Origin and Destination’ has been completed and is primarily for the use of decision-makers and practitioners in the OSCE area and countries served by IOM and ILO. It analyses effective policies and practices and draws upon examples from OSCE participating States as well as other countries that have considerable experience in the field.

A workshop is planned for 2006 to present the handbook and promote dialogue and consultation between interested States as well as facilitate exchange of information and effective practices.

The 1035 Facility will fund various workshop costs including the participation of IOM Member States and the interpretation facilities at the workshop for all participants.
